Claymon Laboratories Logistics Division ensures that your specimens arrive where you want , when you want, suitable for analyses at all times.

Established in January 2002, we now have a fleet of 24 dedicated clinical specimen transport vans operating throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Each vehicle is specially kitted-out , providing

  • Ambient
  • Refrigerated (4-8°C) and
  • Frozen (-20°C), compartments which are digitally monitored and logged throughout each trip.

Our 26-strong team is led by Logistics Director, David Norris, who is a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA), and comprises a driving staff who are all Hazchem trained, Claudine McLaughlin and Rasa Sakaliene who are our in-house logistics administrators and Dave Mulhall, Logistics Manager who oversees daily operations.

David Norris believes that "if our currency is biological specimens, then we
deliver a ‘gold-standard’ service to all our clients". Clients who include:

  1. Hospitals(public / private)
  2. GP Surgeries
  3. Medical Centres
  4. Irish Prison Service
  5. Pharmaceutical Companies

Claymon Logistics provides the central laboratory with the control that enables us to provide customers with guarantees as to how securely and rapidly their samples are delivered , thus decreasing turnaround times for patient results and enabling clinicians to make important decisions.

Northern Route - Drogheda (Start)- Letterkenny 12.00, Derry 12.30 and Belfast 14.00, Dundalk, Drogheda.

Northeast Route - Dublin(Start) Monaghan 10.00 and Cavan 10.45 - morning, Monaghan 14.30 - afternoon.

Midlands/Western Route - (Start) Mullingar 9.15, Sligo 11.00, Castlebar 12.30, Galway 14.00, Ballinasloe 16.00 and Tullamore 17.00.

Southeast Route - Dublin (Start) Kilkenny 11.15, Wexford 12.30, Waterford 13.30, Clonmel 14.45, Limerick 16.00 and Portlaoise 19.30.

Southwest Route - Tralee 11.00, Cork 13.30 and Limerick 18.00
